Joined the HCI team in 2024
Emily graduated from Carleton College in 2018. During her time as a student, Emily fell in love with the Northfield community through tutoring at Greenvale Park Elementary and interning with HCI’s Growing Up Healthy program. She served as a Promise Fellow with TORCH from 2018-2020 and then worked as HCI’s Internet Access Specialist until 2021. Emily spent a few years working with youth in the Twin Cities while obtaining her Master of Education degree in Youth Development Leadership. She is excited to be part of the HCI team once again!
As Network Impact Coordinator, Emily convenes the Northfield Racial and Ethnic Equity Collaborative (NREEC) Housing Work Group as it works to implement solutions to improve the availability of affordable, safe, energy efficient housing options in Northfield and Rice County.
Emily’s favorite part of her role is connecting with all of the wonderful people in Northfield and Rice County.
Fun fact: Emily loves to spend time outdoors, has a knack for propagating succulents, and enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends!
