Early Childhood Navigator

Email
Joined the HCI team in 2021

Prior to joining the HCI team, Mia worked in Texas for Cameron County in the voter registration department. She also worked at a law firm and obtained a Texas notary license and Texas bail bond license. In Northfield, she has worked at a women’s private rehab center and at Menards.

As an Early Childhood Navigator, Mia helps families in the Northfield community with children ages 0-5 fill out intake forms and provides information and guidance about childcare options and preschool. She helps expecting moms and their families make connections to access community and educational resources for better outcomes.

Mia’s favorite part about her job is being able to provide an empathetic ear and personal understanding of caring for the families and children she assists.

Fun fact:  Mia loves to spend time with her family; her kids and grandkids are her motivation. They enjoy Tex-Mex BBQ and music during the nice weather.
