Healthy Community Initiative

During the annual Earth Day Celebration on April 22, the youth of Transition Northfield will meet at the First United Church of Christ, where they will offer a variety of workshops and activities, including the construction of a raised garden bed.  The garden bed will be placed on the boulevard in front of a home in Northfield where the homeowner will tend to the plants/vegetables planted.  The garden will include signage inviting the public to help themselves to the produce in the garden.
