Wellness in the Woods

Wellness in the Woods (WitW) is a peer-run 501-(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All staff members (including the CEO and CFO) are people who have been there and understand different paths to recovery.

At WitW we provide empowering peer recovery support services to adults in Minnesota, with no cost to participants. Most of our services are virtual/remote, including the Virtual Peer Support Network (VPSN), Recovery in the Woods (RITW), and the Minnesota Warmline.

Services offered:

  • Virtual Peer Support Network (VPSN): Each meeting will provide tools and support to help you lead a healthier and happier life. We offer sessions that focus on specific topics such as recovery support, recreational activities, LGBTQ+ support and more.
  • The Peer Support Connection Warmline of Minnesota is a safe and free way for individuals to receive confidential and anonymous one on one peer support from trained Peers, Certified Peer Support Specialists, and Recovery Coaches.
  • Recovery in the Woods (RitW)
