Healthy Community Initiative

Youth Day at the Capitol (YDAC) is an annual event sponsored by the YMCA allowing high school
students from across the state to gather at the state capitol. A group of Northfield youth attended YDAC
in February 2024 and met with Representative Kristi Purcell in addition to touring the capitol building
and sitting in on mock legislative hearings.
