Healthy Community Initiative

The KEY is an important gathering space for youth in Northfield. Open 365 days a year, the KEY Youth
Center has many people coming through its doors each day. While many updates have been done to the
interior of the building, the backyard needs its own makeover. Youth identified three major needs:

• Repair the fence
• Renovate the gazebo
• Install garden beds

Through these renovations, the Key will provide additional space for young people to gather, perform,
and engage with the community in a safe and welcoming environment.
