Race and Racism in the U.S.

Two Northfield High School teachers are planning a week of lessons for high school seniors around the theme of race and racism in America. This unit will be taught in December. They hope to end the five-lesson unit by bringing in guest speaker Shannon Martinez, on Wednesday, December 20. Martinez is a former white supremacist turned activist. She is open to multiple conversations, presentations, small group work, etc. throughout her day at Northfield High School.
