Movement and Music in the Classroom
October 2016
Special Education staff plan to have Shari Setchell as a guest instructor to lead the Low Incidence group of students in therapeutic movement and music. This activity will become an instructional tool for the Social Recreation class. Shari Setchell is certified to teach Autism Movement Therapy and is a Global Somatics Practitioner and Registered Somatic Movement Therapist. Somatic processes re-educate the neromuscular system toward greater health and well-being.
