Healthy Community Initiative

This grant was submitted by three students who are working with a group of fifteen art students at Northfield High School to create a mural in the hallway at the High School that destigmatizes mental health struggles and brings hopeful phrases and images that help to move people through those struggles. The mural will be two-fold; darker imagery that addresses how many youth feel alone, overwhelmed, and anxious that will turn the corner to hopeful statements and a single colorful face. The YouthBank team is eager to fund this project that will be seen every day by so many students and will spread a hopeful, uplifting message on mental health.
