Healthy Community Initiative

The Northfield Black Student Union hosted a field trip to the Youth Performance Company’s showing of
Freedom Riders on February 9, 2024. The performance commemorated the 1964 journey of a group of
students who traveled to the Deep South to help register new voters. The BSU club at the high school is
dedicated to empowering Black students in the Northfield community.
