Healthy Community Initiative

Addressing the theme of Climate Action, this grant application came from five Arcadia students that were taking part in an Environmental class at their school. With the help of a local farmer, this class will build a Hoop House to expand the produce growing season in Minnesota. The Hoop House will operate without using any municipal energy or water (they will collect rainwater for the plantings), making it extremely sustainable and environmentally friendly.
