Rice County Social Services

Rice County Social Services outpatient mental health providers offer individual, family and couples counseling to individuals who reside in Rice County, are uninsured or underinsured, or who have experienced significant barriers to accessing care elsewhere. Our providers work with individuals who are 6 years old and above, and who present with a variety of behavioral health needs. Our providers are also able to complete diagnostic assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment recommendations best suited to meet the client’s needs and current circumstances.

Services Offered:

We offer low intensity, outpatient individual, family and couples counseling to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured and reside in Rice County. Our providers are generalists, meaning they are trained to treat a variety of conditions commonly experienced, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, etc. For individuals requiring a higher level of care or in need of a specialist, our providers work to facilitate referrals to ensure that individuals are getting the support they need and want.

We primarily serve individuals without insurance, or those who are underinsured.

Are services available in languages besides English?

Yes, we can provide services through an interpreter either in person or by phone, depending on the language spoken.
