Joined the HCI team in 2025
Tom’s professional life has been dedicated to innovative, community-based partnerships supporting child and adolescent wellbeing and racial equity.
For 25 years Tom was an intern, therapist, trainer, Program Director, COO, then CEO at Washburn Center for Children.
As Board President for the Minnesota Association of Community Mental Health Programs, Tom helped form a new statewide Integrated Health Partnership for Community Mental Health Centers called Convergence Integrated Care (CIC), then helped expand the network as CIC’s Senior Operations Director.
As Executive Director, Tom secures resources and supports so HCI can deliver high-quality collective impact services — ensuring that systems work well for kids and youth and enable all youth to thrive.
Tom lives with his wife, Ann, and their three children in Minneapolis.
Fun Fact: When he’s not goofing around with his family or working, he is usually playing guitar, reading a book, or riding his bike.
