Healthy Community Initiative

Since the statewide policy to provide free menstrual products to students, Northfield District Youth
Council was optimistic their previous work to provide menstrual products in the high school was done.
However, the need to access to menstrual products continues even during winter and spring breaks.
DYC will create period care packages for students to pick up prior to winter and spring break. Leftover
care packages will be distributed to the high school nurse and in school bathrooms.
