Joined the HCI Team in 2020
Before joining the HCI team, Heidy worked as a customer service specialist in banking and with diversity ethnicity groups, an experience that has aided her in her work of helping kids and families.
As a Family Engagement Navigator, Heidy helps families connect with school. She provides support to families with elementary school children by promoting attendance and school engagement and helping connect them to local resources.
Heidy’s favorite part of her role is getting to know kids on a personal level and discovering what they like and how she can best serve their needs.
Fun fact: Heidy likes to crochet.
